Privacy Policy

No bank password, ever

Gastei never asks for, receives or stores bank passwords. You export statements from your bank's app or website and import the files into Gastei.

Your statements stay on your device

Statement files (OFX, CSV and PDF) are read in your own browser. The file is never sent to our servers.

Without an account, all transactions, plans and month closes are stored only in your browser. If you clear your browser data, they are deleted.

When you create an account

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile photo. We use them only to identify your account.

With an account, processed transactions (date, amount, description, category and bank), your plans and month closes are stored in our database so you can access them anywhere. Statement files are still never stored.

Each person can only access their own data, enforced by security rules in the database.

Feedback

When you send an idea, problem, complaint or praise, we store the message, the part of the app, the reply email (if you provide one) and technical details such as language, page and browser. Your transactions are never included.

How we use data

To provide the service (contract performance), answer your messages and improve the product. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in, servers in São Paulo), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Google (sign-in) and Stripe (Plus payments; card and Pix details stay with Stripe only). Some may process data outside Brazil, with the safeguards required by the LGPD.

When the Plus plan's AI review becomes available, it will use only a monthly summary (category totals and points of attention), never the full statement, and only for people who turn the feature on.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data. In the app, "Delete everything" removes the data in your browser and, if you're signed in, the data stored in your account too.

To delete your account entirely or exercise any other LGPD right, write to suporte@beethetech.com.

Cookies

We only use necessary cookies: theme, language and the sign-in session. No advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything relevant, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect.
